Request for Construction Meter

Temporary water service for construction purposes is provided at fire hydrants through a hydrant meter supplied by the District.

PLEASE NOTE: PERSONS FOUND USING WATER FROM ANY DISTRICT FIRE HYDRANT, INFRASTRUCTURE AND APPURETENANCES WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION BY THE DISTRICT WILL FACE PENALTY CHARGES OF UP TO $10,000 PLUS DAMAGES AND COST OF WATER STOLEN, AS OUTLINED IN REGULATION 5.

**Meter requests made more than 2 business days in advanced will not be accepted.**

Please note that the following applies per Regulation 5:

• A security deposit is required for all hydrant meters and is due prior to delivery of the hydrant meter.
• A monthly service charge applies per Regulation 1.
• Customer will need to report readings to the District by the last business day of every month.  Failure to provide a reading will result in the customer paying $175 for every time a District employee is dispatched to read or recover the meter.
• Customers will pay for all water used per rates listed in Regulation 1.
