Diablo Water District Seeking Grant Money from State

On August 28th, staff from Diablo Water District will be participating in a workshop with other local agencies and the State Department of Water Resources (DWR). The intent of the workshop is to work with DWR on a request for funding, so the District can implement a web based consumer engagement portal and advanced leak detection on the District's water supply & transmission pipes. The total grant request is $500,000 and the District expects to be notified this upcoming winter if the project is funded.
