Residential Application for Water Service

Please complete this form for new residential water service.  To stop service, please complete our Request to Disconnect Water service form.

Applications must be received by 12 pm (Monday - Friday) for same day turn-ons.  You may complete the form below or print and email/mail the form to our office.  Please note, if our office is closed due to a holiday, all turn-ons will be completed next business day.

A security deposit of $100 for property owners, or twice the estimated monthly bill, whichever is greater, will be placed on your first bill.  A security deposit of $200 is required for tenants. At the time of application, $100 is due and the remaining $100 will be added to your first water bill. For additional District information please review the new customer packet.

After Hours Connection Request

We must receive your application by 12 pm, Monday through Friday (non-holiday), for same day connection. A non-refundable charge of $100 is due payable by CASH/CHECK at time of connection for all after hours call outs. Please call our office at (925) 625-3798 for after hours water service connection.
We are unable to back date start dates. Every effort will be made to begin services on your requested start date (Monday – Friday, non-holidays).

About Our District

Please check the website for current rates. We bill on a monthly basis. We use Chloramines in the water to disinfect which is a combination of chlorine and ammonia. There is fluoride in the water and the water is safe to use and drink. If you have a fish aquarium, you need to use a water treatment that you can find at any local pet store. If anyone in the home lives on a kidney dialysis machine, they must contact their physician for the water settings for the machine. We recommend that your outside watering should be no more than five (5) minutes at any one time.

Release of Liability

I request that Diablo Water District turn on water at the above service address regardless of anyone being at the premises. I realize that if all water-using appliances are not completely closed, or if there are any leaks, the premises may suffer water damage. I hereby accept full responsibility for any such damage and agree to hold Diablo Water District harmless if any damage should occur.
