Diablo Water District and Ironhouse Sanitary District were awarded up to $100,000, by the State Water Resources Control Board, for the completion of a joint Recycled Water Feasibility Study. The study will kick-off in November and is expected to be complete in May 2020. Staff expects the study to look at range of reuse options including: the feasibility of installing purple pipe for landscape irrigation and/or groundwater injection for indirect potable resuse.
